APRIL FOOL!!!!

I Tvya Asokan and my sister Malini Asokan will never forget this tremendous day, 1st April 2007.

We sisters decided to fool our grandma which is my father's mother. My grandma loves my dad, since he is the 1st child out of 10 children. He is the eldest in the family, so everyone loves him so much. I know it sounds kind of too much to fool my grandma who is very old. But we sisters decided to fool her around, since it is called APRIL FOOL DAY. We felt that, there is no harm in fooling anyone, including my grandma. Therefore, on that day, both of us called her using our house phone. Surprisingly she answered the call, we consider that she is lucky to be fooled by us. We actually started our fooling session by saying "we have a bad news for you, grandma." She kept quiet for a moment. Then, I spoke up with braveness telling that my dad, your son met with an accident. Guess what happened after that..She started crying, we couldn't stop her from crying. She begin crying very loud and did not stop, we did not even have the chance to say "APRIL FOOL, GRANDMA. My aunt took the phone from her, and asked us whether it is true or not. Then we said, we were just trying to fool grandma since today is April fool day. My aunt scolded us, telling that we shouldn't have done that to her, she is old and weak. We sisters later on felt guilty, and called her again to apologize. She was better after knowing, the news was actually not true. We actually told our dad, once he came back from work. He was not angry with us, but was just reminding us not to do it again. Therefore, from that day onwards me and my sister will always be careful in what we are going to say or fool anyone on APRIL FOOL DAY!

bittersweet a relief to be done all the time has gone fun and quick the waiting gets me sick give me them all my grades won't fall pacing and thinking eating and drinking study; for what everything already known waiting waiting just give me the exam then to class the stuck-ups whine for a little more time let's end this!!!!

PROJECT PAPER

Charity....charity!!!!

My group's project paper is all about charity work. We as Bachelor Of English student have decided to carry out a project. So we have decided to run the project at an Asli village, by conducting English Intensive Campaign for Asli children. The purpose why we choose Asli children was, they are the one's who do not receive proper education. This is because they are living in a rural area where they can't get proper education. Besides that, their surroundings are all Asli speaking people who also did not receive proper education. Therefore, that is the reason why we choose Asli children to provide English education. There are around 50 children in the village that we are going to conduct this programme with, from the age of 6-17. We are really looking forward to get their full support to run this project. Moreover, our Lecturer have agreed to give us full sponsor for this project. So, we really hope that this project will be a successful one.

A hated job which is a financial necessity!!

A job was needed urgently, because I was having some financial difficulties during that time. Though the job was tough and stressful, I had to work there, because I didn't have any other choice. The staffs there are very arrogant type and its hard to communicate with them. There is no space to mingle around or joke around with anyone. The supervisor of the company pressures everyone whose working under him, and gives them lots of task in a day. The manager of the company only comes to the office once in a blue moon and does not know what is going around there. The supervisor dominates everything and tortures the staffs. Although, the environment and the people are too arrogant, a job was needed urgently for financial necessity. So I have to work until I get a better job.

A music-loving dentist

I am a strict and serious person. I do not like to talk much with anyone. I love staying alone and spending time listening to music. Music is my passion, I usually listen to music while working. I love to listen to hip hop songs such as Flo rida's songs and Dr.Dre's songs. I usually make my patients happy by playing music which makes them calm and relax. I feel that music makes me calm and releases tension, especially during working hours. Therefore, my radio will be switched on the whole day.

ThE FiRe CracKeRs!!!

A firecracker is also known as noise maker.

I think everyone should know why is it called noise maker.

This is because firecrackers are really very noisy and annoying at times.

These firecrackers have really changed my life.

I use to be afraid of firecrackers until the age of 15.

But, now I am brave enough to lit up any sort of firecrackers.

I learnt all this from my younger brother who loves to play firecrackers.

We usually play firecrackers during Deepavali and New Year.

We enjoy playing firecrackers during festivals.

This is because we always gather in our grandmother's house during this festivals.

However today there are many different styles of firecrackers available to the consumer.

So I am sure everyone will enjoy playing firecrackers like me.

My Favorite Fictional Character

Lizzie McGuire is a Disney Channel Original Series that aired on the Disney Channel from 2001 until 2004. Its target demographic was preteens and adolescents. The TV show was created by Terri Minsky. I am a big fan of Hillary Duff and Lizzie McGuire.I think Lizzie Mcguire is so cool! After all, she's a perfect role of a regular girl. The Lizzie Mcguire by Susan Estelle Jansen is an awesome story about one girl that is to clumsy to do anything.Moreover, Lizzie McGuire is an Emmy-nominated show about an insecure middle school student trying to manuever through all the trials of teendom. There to help her are her best friends Miranda, Zaina, Tara and Gordo and her animated alter-ego who tells the viewers what she's really thinking. I like all her episodes and series of books. This is because, she is a good entertainer and also comedian. I don't get bored reading or watching her stories. I enjoy reading her books during my leisure time.Some people might say only silly people like watching Lizzie McGuire's episodes or read her book. I do not care what they say, as long as I enjoy watching.

HiGh FiDeLitY..

Fidelity is the quality of being faithful or loyal to someone. It is a character that everyone should own in order to have a good relationship with someone. It is not only being fidelity, but high fidelity which makes a relationship last long. This is not only talking about being faithful in a relationship but also being faithful to one's duties. Fidelity is a very important quality for every human being to be in a good term with everyone. I am going to talk about high fidelity in a relationship. It is very important for someone to be loyal and faithful to their partner. This is because, we need to trust each and everyone around us, so if we want people to trust us we have to be loyal and faithful to them. To me, I find it essential to have a relationship that consist of high fidelity which makes the relationship more stronger and everlasting. So, my policy is to be loyal and faithful to whoever that I make friend with, because this makes my life happier. :-)

LiTTLe bLacK DrEsS...(Dreams that become reality)

This is a story of a girl who owns a BLACK DRESS that made her dream come true. She is an Iranian girl called Ruhiyyah Khanum, she is 21 years old. Ruhiyyah is just simply pretty with the way she is. Ruhiyyah is so gorgeous looking, that makes every guy in the town to go after her. She has lots of admires who likes to call her out for date. One day, one of her friend named by Mirza Dass invited her for a dance party at his friend's place. So, Mirza decided to bring Ruhiyyah as his dance partner for that night. Basically, Ruhiyyah is a quiet person who don't really like to mingle around with people, but somehow Mirza managed to brainwash her to follow him for that party.

On that morning, she was frustrated because she didn't have proper dress to put on, so she decided to go for shopping to get a dress for the dance party. She has to shop alone, because she does not like to mix around with people. Moreover, Ruhiyyah is also afraid of crowds. Besides that, Mirza decided to introduce Ruhiyyah to his friends so that she will learn to mingle around with people and become more friendly. At last, during her shopping at a famous mall she found a beautiful black dress that attracted her to buy it. So, she decided to buy that dress because the price was reasonable and she liked the pattern on the dress. On that night, Ruhiyyah wore her new black dress with lots of accessories that made her look more gorgeous. She was too beautiful until even Mirza was melted with her new black dress.

At the party, Mirza was going around introducing Ruhiyyah to his friends and making her comfortable. At the very beginning, she was a bit shy and quiet, soon after the dinner before the dance she became a little comfortable with the people around her. Yet, she refused to dance. She was just looking around and having some drinks with her new friends. Few hours have been passed, she was still sitting down and watching them dancing. While the party was going on smoothly, all of a sudden she stood up and gave a shocking look towards the crowd. Guess what?? she saw her dream guy and started shivering, because she didn't know what to do. She sat back on the couch and started wondering if she could go n approach him. But, she did not have the courage to do so.

After a few minutes, Ruhiyyah was tired of sitting on the sofa, so she decided to walk near the pool which is next to the garden. While, she was walking by the side of the pool she noticed someone is following her. She was a bit scared to turn behind to look, so she continued walking. Suddenly, she saw someone standing in front of her, she did not dare to look up until she heard a voice saying "Your black dress is simply awesome and you look gorgeous on it!" Guess who was that? That was her dream guy that she wished to get married with. She was so blur after he said that to her. In a low volume she said "thank you!" and all of a sudden Ruhiyyah became more courages to start up a conversation with him. They were talking all day long without realizing that it was twelve midnight. Later on , they exchanged number after the party was over. It all started up here, just because of that one black dress that she wore, she actually made her dream guy to like her. Not all girls or boys get the chance to meet their dream girl or dream guy, but Ruhiyyah got the opportunity to meet her dream guy, after wearing that black dress.

This relationship that Ruhiyyah had with her dream guy was going on and on.Finally, Ruhiyyah got married with her dream guy and all she wore for her wedding was the "LITTLE BLACK DRESS" that she wore for the party. Her dream guy loved her more on the wedding day when he saw her with that dress. At the end, after the marriage they lived happily ever after.

2010 (All About Water)

The United Nations theme for the year 2010 is "World Water Day". I find it to be a useful theme, this is because nowadays human beings tend to waste water simply without realizing that. It is not merely about paying the water bills on the end of the day, but it is all about to raise the profile of water quality at the political level so that water quality considerations are made alongside those of water quantity. Other than that, unclean water affects poor children and families first, while the rest of the world's population benefits straight from the water they need for domestic use. It is essential for all human beings to receive clean water, in order to live a healthy life. This water issue does not only affects the individuals, but it also affects any industries that produce raw materials by using water. This could bring harm to their production and business, so it is important to every individual to use water wisely. Besides that, unclean waters can lead to malaria, intestinal worms and other water related diseases. Moreover, water and health are intimately linked, this is because low quality of water leads to all kinds of illness. Water is a primary medium which climate change influence the Earth's ecosystems and therefore people's live hoods and wellbeing. Therefore, to conclude I would say that every individual plays a role to gain clean waters and live a healthy life. So the year 2010 will be the year where every human beings will learn to save water and live in a world of healthy.
